A lush selection here, Claire! Can I add my Writing for Better Mental Health short course to the list? This 4-week course kicks off tomorrow evening, Thursday 21st September (8-9pm BST), and I'll be launching dates for the next soon which will be starting in January 2024. It's open to everyone in my paid membershio community and for more info they can look here: https://lindsayjohnstone.substack.com/p/announcing-my-writing-for-better
I run writing workshops in person in Italy and the Netherlands and also online. They range from travel writing, writing setting & gothic writing. See more here: https://www.writinggrove.com/
I offer guest post space or email interviews to anyone interested in sharing about their experience with the relationship between art/craft/creativity and mental health/wellness. I accept stuff about art as therapy but am especially looking for thoughts about the shadow side of the relationship - when art harms, when mental health symptoms impact creative process or content, etc
I’ve got two spaces left in my Iceland writing retreat Oct. 31 - Nov. 6. I love seeing all these offerings here. Writing retreats must be so needed now in this sort of after-COVID times. The first week of my retreat sold out in a month so I added an extra week! Www.susanweisbohlen.com
Sure! We have a very broad definition of technical writing, basically anything meant to inform or educate in technical topics, be it computer science, math, other "hard" sciences, engineering, but also social sciences and humanities.
It's tech as in technical, not restricted to information technology. However most of our members are into AI and computer science. We have people who write news aggregators, or make reviews of current research, and we have lots of people who write more kind of essays about technology and society.
