I’ve recently written out a schedule based on my menstrual cycle!

It peaks at 3 blogs a week, 3 notes a day (and 3 linked in posts) in summer week then 2 lots of each either side and only one in winter week.

It feels simple, aligned and I know where I’m at - let’s see what happens!

I have a longer term plan to take a full week off over winter week. Full phone switch off and everything. I’m building up to that in the next 2 years. This year I will have had 4 of them by Xmas, next year I’m increasing it to every other month. The year after, everyone will know it’s a monthly thing.

Love this! Digital detoxes aren’t always easy but boy are they rewarding! ✨ thank you for always sharing so openly. There were so many amazing connects for you on today’s call and then I didn’t realise it only recorded the chat from the point of recording! So many people coming to writing through chronic health. ❤️‍🩹❤️

Was gutted I missed it! Can’t ever do a Monday morning now as that’s when I deliver my healing through writing circle. Hope I get to connect with them at other times. A massive community of us here now. Big shift in us stepping out and speaking up

Since my writing is research intense, my schedule is a little different. I try to have a few stories in the hopper at all times, some in research and some in writing. I schedule the final drafts weeks ahead, and then revisit them just before final publication, making changes as needed and based on new information, insights or conversations. Having things prescheduled means I don’t have to stress about deadlines — there’s always something available. It also gives me flexibility to chase stories that interest me.
