Iâve no business, dear ClaireâĻ I just love yout writing and the tips you helped me with getting started! Iâm doing well on Accept AdaptApplaud with 12 paid subscribers, close to 400 people liking my writing. I was awed by your email this morningâĻhad no idea what a powerful leader you are hereâĻSubstack was wise to grab you! Much love and gratitude for staying connected with me! đĨ°đĢļâēī¸
If youâre looking to grow an online business and make money as part of your substack, the mastermind. If itâs all substack growth and creative development - Diamond membership. â¨
I'm mostly just here on Substack, at sarahfrison.substack.com, writing about Belgian food and baking. I've also got my holiday season cookbook on amazon and through Barnes and Noble in the US but I don't have public pages on other social media anymore that I regularly update.
Hello! I'm a literary agent who has been a longtime reader and lurker of other Substacks. It's a great place to scout out emerging voices and talented writers with important things to say. I recently made the decision to press publish on my own Substack, Writing Is A Team Sport! https://morganstrehlow.substack.com/
I'm also @morganstrehlow in most internet spaces. đĢļđģ
I'm finding TikTok an incredible place for my business right now. I'm seeing a lot of opportunities to make content inspired by things I see or people ask on TikTok that I can repurpose in other forms elsewhere (TikTok.com/@rhiannondaverc) and I'm even making affiliate sales for extra cash as well. Never imagined it would happen this early - I have about one seventh the followers I do on Instagram, where I never made a dime.
You know I am SO curious about TikTok after listening to Coco Mocoe - do you subscribe to her stuff Rhiannon?! I love her podcast and sheâs here on SS too! Maybe Iâll pop back over there inbetween Christmas and New Year for research/ funsies! â¨â¨âŖī¸
I also have a long-time blog off substack: https://moderngypsy.in â that is a lifestyle blog, with tarot, books, travel, self-development, art, and courses.
But with limited funds I'm wondering whether it might be best to upgrade to paid (yearly) or go for The Business of your Substack? I realise that might be a silly question ...
Iâve sent you a dm! The Business of your Substack is going to help you start the year strong across your business ecosystem with Substack as your home. Diamond membership is for those who are ALL in on Substack for a year and want to grow and more deeply understand how their publication can work, go/ grow paid subscribers and solidify their strategy. â¨
and I hang around a bit still on Instagram @jacquisonelife and Facebook but mainly to promote my in person Yoga/meditation and try to get people over here.
Never done Twitter so no intention of starting anything else.
Your class will be great Iâm sure but Iâve committed to myself to stick on my path and focus on getting my book written and get agent/publisher over next few months. I need to trust myself and stay on this path.
So my growth maybe slow but Iâm going to keep chugging along on here as I am with my monthly live meditation circles and mentoring sessions and writing essays and review in February.
Steady subscriber growth on here for The Mindful Writer - average around 70 a month now which has slowed a bit. Iâve just launched a new website where Iâm running courses: https://www.themindfulwriter.net and also will be providing a community space thatâs included with all the courses or can be joined separately.
Iâve been running my business, Retreat West, since 2012 and have another mailing list over there too. Thatâs ticking along nicely and I have a couple of people working with me who mainly run things there and I just teach a few courses now. Iâm investing my time and energy in The Mindful Writer as thatâs where my heart lies.
I actually joined Bluesky đĻ this week (https://bsky.app/profile/sonyahomestylist.bsky.social) although have no idea what Iâm doing (I was never part of Twitter/X) and am struggling to find others to follow, so do let me know if youâve joined this recent social media craze. đ
I did! I really like it Iâm following things about clouds and space đ trying to find a gentle writers crew: artists but not trying hard just inquisitive! https://bsky.app/profile/clairevenus.bsky.social

Aw Joan. I feel the warmth in your words. Thank you love. đē
Claire - is this different than the diamond club membership?
Yes lovely itâs a course and small group mastermind. â¨
I am not sure which would be the right direction for The Joy of Story. đ¤
