Love this for you Carla! Being a chef I bet you have lots of stories to tell? I enjoy the depth of connection in podcasts. It’s really quite special when you take the leap. This one with Seth was a cracker but I also enjoy the odd solo episode too… I’ve got better at the delivery as I’ve been honing the craft. ✨
Thank you Claire, grateful for your support 🙏🏼 This conversation reminded me that can share more especially, the people I have worked with and cooked for as a personal chef and food stylist. The podcast is my heart, I have been doing for six years, there is nothing like that connection! I am excited to listen to more of your lives + solo episodes. Honing your craft and sharing your voice is a gift ❤️
Beautiful - aww it really is. I've been reminded of that recently as a friend commented on how lovely my accent sounds to US pals. I made a free content planner for Jan - June 2025 if you'd like to download it. It's very simplistic but prompts you to think about content baskets... I like the idea of a weekly podcast and I guess in the space of joyful, sustainable growth I'd say although there are 52 weeks in a year we would be wise of curators of our own spaces to take more than the suggested statutory 4 weeks of holiday - a note for me for my 2025 planning too.
This is a topic I’ve been working on for a while. I no longer waste my energy there; I only use it occasionally to offer creative and therapeutic workshops for people who are just starting their journey. That’s where most of those people are. Although, as Seth says, I barely reach 10% of my audience. It’s even worse in my case since I’m trying to raise awareness about the harmful effects of social media on creativity and mental health. Instagram hates me.
I do think more and more people are waking up, but many others haven’t even considered it yet. That said, I believe there’s a growing number of us who’ve experienced the contrast and feel the need to spread and share that experience.
Listened to this, not live, but while I was getting ready for work and just loved the positive message you ended on. Let's just be positive, support each other and give things a go. That's a great message to start my day with 😊
Divinely timed! Navigating some of my goals for next year and so much of it is to move away from social and devote myself to my writing on Substack 🙏🏾🥰 scary but feels necessary!
Loved this chat! I have been hiding away from substack (and the world in general) for a while now. Life decided to tear up all the grand plans I had when I first discovered the platform and I have been struggling to find the courage to show up again after the set backs. This has reminded me about all the things I loved when I first came over and given me the push I needed to join in and put myself out there again. Thank you both 🙏
Aww he’s a gem! And thank you for your kind words Scott. I’m very passionate about us using our time wisely and being mindful about what we put out as part of our digital legacy. We just don’t get those social media hours back. ✨😅
I loved watching this live! You gave me a lot to consider as I am committing to a weekly podcast + newsletter and how I want to share it 🎧
YES!! There's no ONE SUPER SOLUTION for everyone, but yeah... keep digging and figuring out how YOU want to share it.
Thank you, taking a deep SIGH, I needed that reminder 🙏🏼 Excited to learn more about you and your work. I just subscribed!
Oooh, fun! It's been a journey, so happy you're coming along haha

"people I have worked with and cooked for as a personal chef and food stylist" - 10000% this! Those people would LOVE to hear from you!
I thought that - super interesting. I just whipped up some noddles - my culinary monday skills are lacking.

It was amazing to hear this from you two! Seth, you're such an inspiring person! Thank you for helping us escape from social media!
Tell us about your journey with social media Cruda? What could 2025 look like for you?

Oh absolutely! Try things, test them out, talk with good people and learn from one another. We're doing it!
Aw yes! It’s such a cool time to be here? ✨
You two are inspiration!!

Aw Kelly I love that for you. I really find separating my reader self from my writer self from my curator self helps. ✨💝
So many fantastic insights! I already knew Seth was a rockstar but it’s great to also collide with the difference you’re making, Claire!

Indeed, Claire. Time is leverage when we invest it with intention, for sure.
