I loved this conversation so so so much. It's so funny to me that my first post here on substack was just a little post about how I was teaching myself color theory, and it's turned into a space where I make art for therapy, and as I become more open about life experiences of poverty and homelessness. I loved everything here, but particularly the bit about rejecting the idea of flattening yourself into a "niche." Instead we can use storytelling to reclaim creativity as an innate human need. This conversation was so inspiring and motivating. Thank you both!!
