💬 October, November, December - Our wonderful '12 Chapters Club' Chat Thread
We're heading down hill to the close of the year so how do you want to spend it?
WELCOME to
12 Chapters Club.
✨
This month, your 12 Chapters prompt is;
To celebrate where you’ve got to. I’d love to restack your Note and celebrate where you are. Yes even if you stopped writing, even if you fell out with the muse of your book - I want to celebrate the messy, creative and inconvenient process so please tag me, use the 12 chapters badge if you like.
TELL us (in the comments) - how did you get on this month, how’s your book shaping up?
Sending sparkles for your month ahead. I'll write again 5 days before the end of the month as a reminder. The club will start again next year with January as Chapter 1 so make sure signed up to receive those here.
Let's write books!!

P.S - Our end of year meet up is scheduled. Here’s the link to add to your calendar.
Get your own 12 Chapters Badge! You can add it to any posts you publish here… some people are building both their book and publishing to get audience feedback.
PS - if you’ve not yet introduced yourself, you can do that here, the monthly threads close on the last day of the month. If you want to receive reminder emails for 12 Chapters Club you need to sign up for free here.

Like I said in my email having an accountability buddy and meeting on zoom every other week to write has really helped me. If you have stalled a little why not find someone and do the same? Or perhaps go to a cafe and write a little - see where it takes you?
Hi Claire and other 12 Chapters folk. I've now written over 65000 words of my novel and am on the last chapter. This is first draft stuff and getting the story down - I am sure I will be adding some detail in the edit - so it should be around 70000 once chapter 12 is done - and then I imagine will go up or 80k or more in the edits. I'm so excited to be completing my first full length novel. I have also found I needed accountability - so I joined Suzy Walker's Heart Leap Writing Hour and that has worked wonders for me :)
