Hi all,

I have SUCH a gift for you!

✨ 🎁

How’s your week going? We have just wrapped up on work and nursery and my son has two more days to go. We are going into the darkest day in the UK. I don’t feel it but I sense it… fairy lights and “bits to do” a welcome distraction from the lack of light.

Winter Solstice looms reminding us the power of what we find when we focus in to REALLY see in the dark. We are each in tandem across the world closing in on the year that was 2023 and in that space we are invited to honour the stories already written.

What we’ve etched into our Substack this year, the connections we’ve made, ideas we’ve had, community we’ve built, words we’ve birthed - well it’s really it’s own miracle in so many ways. A space we want to be in and expand for our craft of creation is a very beautiful thing. Don’t you think?

As a gift of thanks for your generosity sharing space with me here, I’ve made you a Substack reflection workbook AND a soulful planner for your 2024 on Substack!

You are welcome to download them, print them, use them and write all of your writerly Substack reflections, goals and dreams within their pages.

The PDF reflection workbook is FREE to paid members here at Sparkle on Substack and the PDF Substack planner costs £10.50 with 50% of proceeds going to directly to

Zoe Gardiner
at Postpartum Matter CIC.

But first, to reflect…

✨ (or save this post for when you are ready).

We can’t even hope to plan 2024 in an embodied way if we haven’t made space to reflect on where we’ve been and how it’s felt...

We can make plans that seem to fit but in trying them on for size, we might end up confused and further away from what is actually our unique and true way with this platform. We might set off too fast or too muddled or in a zone of ‘push through.’

In this collection of days in the approach to the dawn of a new year, we are honouring the passing of time of the last 365 days i.e where we’ve come from!

There are 525,600 minutes in a year. That’s 8760 hours!

Anyone know how many I spent on Substack? 👀

I’m totally honoured you’ve chosen to spend some of those hours with me here at at Sparkle on Substack. I value this work and I’m glad this space is of service to you and has spurred you on your journey here.

In reflecting on the lessons, the beauty, the success and achievements of 2023, we uncover our NEW vision and some goals in an embodied way that fits (just) right for us.

I’ve been working this way for over 10 years now. I promise you approaching goal setting whilst honouring where your Substack has taken you in 2023 is a gift. If you have “never been much of a planner” - come with us? Give it a try? I hear it all the time - ask me questions on why I love it so much?

Reflection; it’s a place to absorbing the true beauty of your UNIQUE creation into your cells and see (and feel) how magnificent you actually are!

It’s spacious, it’s mindful, it’s an opportunity to course correct (if we need that).

It’s a way to celebrate success with your cup totally full.

We’re not striving for anything here; you can’t get it wrong. It’s not about the numbers (although always a nice stroke of our ego) but more the connection to your calling to do the work you are already being called to do in the world.

It’s an invite for a mindful moment in the push pull of what can be a season of too many messages and external markers of success. It’s an internal compass to work with INSIDE of your very own creative practise.

Your reflection tool and workbook is available below for immediate download. It’s a workbook 44 pages in length with prompts and questions. You can print it or use it as a journalling companion it’s up to you. I hope you love it as much as I loved creating it for you.

If you are a founding member here and part of my Sparkle on Substack Collective you’ll already have the reflection workbook and the planner is on the way to you as my Christmas gift to you. ✨

Your 2024 Sparkle Call / Workshop Dates

In 2024, members will continue to meet twice a month on zoom to explore and deepen our connection to Substack, our work and the possibility for us. There are workshops, tools for growth, opportunity to network and lots of problem solving. I have some guests coming along too. You are welcome to jump in live or catch the replays.

There’s now a community of 150 of us all working together to enhance our experience here and it’s such a beautiful place to spend time and feel both held and accountable. I adore hearing your light bulb moments and sharing in your successes on this platform. I’m so grateful to hold space for you to quiet the noise and stay creative on Substack!

Incase you missed it, I wrote a long piece and timeline from April 2022 to now about being “on” Substack without burning out;
